Spring is the time of year for beginnings, so we've decided to create a blog as an easy way for family near and far to see our pictures and what we're up to. This is probably our favorite time of year; the calves are being born, the leaves are now full on the trees, it smells like just-cut grass in the evenings, and it's light outside well past dinnertime. The kids cannot get enough of the outdoors. Owen likes to "help" Aaron
in the barn and dig in the sand with his beloved loaders and dumptrucks. Ainsley cries when she has to come in or when Aaron and Owen head out and she can't go. We love to jump on the trampoline until we're too hot and then lay down on it until our hair is staticky. Even Ainsley attempts to jump (although her brother makes it pretty impossible to get a chance). She is walking all over the place now, and Owen is very proud 
of his protege. He especially loves it when she says "I love you" to him. As a Mom, it warms my heart to see my two kids forming a deep, loving bond. At 3 and 16 months, they're just starting what we hope will be a lifelong friendship.
